Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Nurtoora (the "App") or visiting nurtoora.com (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services. These Terms apply to all users of the App and Website, including parents, guardians, and caregivers.

Nurtoora is a child developmental tracking application designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 0–6. The App allows you to: • Log daily wellness observations (mood, sleep, food, notes) • Record developmental milestones and small wins • Track behaviours with intensity and trigger data • Complete age-appropriate guided activities • Record professional assessment notes • Generate AI-powered insights and progress reports • Find nearby specialists and healthcare providers Nurtoora is an observation and tracking tool. It is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice.

To use Nurtoora, you must: • Be at least 18 years of age • Be a parent, guardian, or authorised caregiver of the child whose data you enter • Provide accurate registration information You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Nurtoora offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription. Free Tier: Available to all registered users at no cost. Includes core tracking features with limited AI requests per month. Premium Subscription: • Billed monthly or annually as displayed at the time of purchase • Processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store • Automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date • Managed through your device's native subscription settings Cancellation: Cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account. Premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.

All content, features, and functionality of Nurtoora — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — are owned by Nurtoora and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App or Website • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code • Use our branding or trademarks without written permission • Resell or commercially exploit any part of the service

You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into Nurtoora. By using the App, you grant Nurtoora a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service (including generating AI insights). You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Do not enter false, misleading, or harmful content.

Nurtoora is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information, insights, and content provided by Nurtoora — including AI-generated insights — are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional — including your paediatrician, developmental specialist, or therapist — for any health concerns about your child. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read in the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nurtoora and its operators shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Loss of data, revenue, or profits • Any harm resulting from reliance on App content for medical decisions • Service interruptions or technical failures Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your use of Nurtoora is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at nurtoora.com/privacy. We take the privacy of your family's data seriously and comply with applicable privacy laws including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR where applicable.

You may stop using Nurtoora and delete your account at any time from within the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Nurtoora after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Nurtoora shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
